Grappe Construction Corp., formerly known as United Homesteads, was created back in 2003 and is family owned and operated. We are active members of the renowned National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the Mid-Hudson Metro NY Better Business Bureau (invitation only), the Building Trades Association, and are fully licensed by the State of New York to conduct inspections services. We have an impeccable reputation and keep current with industry standards of practice, and strictly adhere to the NACHI and Better Business Bureau Code of Ethics. Currently we are proud to offer high quality new construction, renovations/restorations of existing structures, and inspections services throughout the lower New York State region.

- Spent last 15yrs working in residential home building and landscape architecture

Last 7yrs worked in the capacity of an analyst, managing survey & civil eng. projects and countless environmental studies for a large utility company. Assisted in large scale surveys of a state wide transmission corridor; contributed to FERC re-licensing efforts for a major hydro-electric power facility; helped maintain large environmental, topographic, bathymetric, and taxmap coverages; contributed to a towers structure analysis project, creating plan & profile drawings based on LIDAR collected data, aerial photography, and field surveys; jointly led efforts in an EMF (electro-magnetic force) study to measure levels, and to explore the indirect link to childhood leukemia; countless mold, lead paint, and air quality inspections.
